Nhắc đến Mound and blade thì có lẽ cái tên này không còn xa lạ gì trong giới game thủ chúng ta. Năm 2010 Taleword đã tung ra bản Mound and Blade Warband và được đánh giá rất tích cực về gameplay đầy lôi cuốn.

Có thể thấy rất ít tựa game có thể kết hợp vừa nhập vai, chiến thuật, hành động vào 1 tựa game thành công như M&B.

Lối chơi cực kỳ cuốn hút và sẽ đốt hàng trăm giờ chơi của bạn vào những chiến trường thời trung cổ cực chân thật. Game không chỉ đơn thuần vào game rồi chém cho đã tay mà bạn còn phải chiêu mộ binh sĩ, kết giao với các đế chế, làm nhiệm vụ gia tăng hảo cảm với các lãnh chúa, xây dựng một đế chế cho riêng mình, phát triển giao thương để có chi phí duy trì quân sự……..

Chính vì gameplay khá lôi cuốn cho nên M&B là một trong những tựa game tuy lâu đời nhưng đến nay số lượng bản mod thuộc top game có nhiều mod nhất nhờ vào cộng đồng modder hùng hậu.

Đã trải qua nhiều bản mod, mỗi bản có cái hay, cái dở riêng vì mình cũng không thể tránh được vài nhược điểm khi game đã xuất hiện khá lâu nên có nhiều khuyết điểm không thể tránh. Tuy nhiên bỏ qua những nhược điểm ấy mình xin giới thiệu với bạn một bản mod đã từng làm mưa làm gió một thời. Đó là bản mod Tam Quốc Chí, nói về giao tranh của các phe phái thời Tam Quốc: Hà Bắc, Bắc Ngụy, Tây Thục, Đông Ngô, Tây Lương.

Bạn sẽ được chính tay vác đao ra chiến trường để tiêu diệt kẻ địch, hoặc chấp nhận một màn solo tay đôi với các tướng nhưng Quan Vũ, Triệu Vân,….

Ngoài ra, mặc định game chỉ cho phép chiến trường tối đa 150 quân, với tool dưới đây bạn có thể set cho chiến trường lên 1000 quân 1 lượt tạo cảm giác hoành tránh thật sự (không khuyến khích máy yếu nhé)
